That sucks but if it helps moving the frame replacement along, you just have to get it done. Might give you some leverage if needed at some point.

I didn’t bother with a rental but I think that they only cover the rental during the actual time required to swap the frame? Frame order lead time wasn’t covered I was told.

They will put you in a rental until your truck is done regardless of how long it takes! :)

Make sure that you thoroughly inspect your truck when you pick it up.. Check the bed alignment and make sure that all of your lights are working. You will NOT get a rental car if you have to bring it back to have their mistakes corrected.

Do the new frames include all the block off plugs for the frame that weren't included in earlier trucks?

I'm happy to keep my 2006 taco. My last job work truck was a Silverado and after you put 60k miles in a year on one you don't want one

W/T series is completely different than the LTZ model I have ..like a cadillac ride vs a dump truck...The seats in my taco were so low to the floor I had major back problems...soon as I got the chevy-these went away....The auto locking rear diff is a world of difference when driving in soft sand- it cuts through it better than my taco ever did...

Throw a locker in the Taco, and it'll do the same.
