***update. So my dealer called me today and told me they were starting the repairs on the fuel pump but that they lost my key fob which was delaying them moving the truck. They asked me to bring in my spare fob because they didn't have any fobs in stock to code and that they would be ordering me a new fob.

Then a few hours later I got a second call from the dealer.. they said that as the tech was completing the fuel pump repair he tore a gasket in the fuel fuller neck and that of course they didnt have that part in stock either and needed to order it.. now I got to wait a few more days before I get the truck done.
With this track record.. i have no confidence they can even do to fuel pump repair correctly.
Concerned about problems after I get it back.

I put on my vin and state on the toyota recall site and it says my truck does not have any recalls. Is it a mistake? I have a 2019 off road. 15k miles.

Thanks hope so. Bought the truck mid June 2019. Manufacturer date shows Texas 5/19.

Mine was made in Mexico, but the sticker doesn't show a manufacture date. I know that it was first sold in April of 2019.

You could call the SM ahead of time and ask if the skid plate is an issue? If so then just remove it temporarily.

I talked to my dealer today and they are ordering the part and I scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday (can't get to delear later this week because of work). The only thing they said was that the recall was VIN specific and confirmed my VIN number.

Mine went in for 20K service yesterday at a Northern California dealership where the truck was purchased and the fuel pump was replaced.

Axxed the service advisor: When would it have been replaced if the truck was not there for service? He indicated they have a few fuel pumps in stock for this situation and that letters had gone out or were about to go out for others on the recall list.

If you are on the recall list and have not received the 2nd letter or been contacted to schedule an appt., recommend reaching out to all dealers in your area and inquiring. Sounds like they all got some fuel pumps with more arriving in the future.

They told me they needed 48 hours so they could order, apply the vin and get it added to the system.

Somewhat similar to my experience, called last Friday said they'd have the part by Monday. I have an appt. this Sat to have it installed. 2018 MT/OR

Quite a few things at this point..
Just called the dealership in my area that I actually trust. Didn't have the part in, but ordered it while I was on the phone, gave me a 1 week ETA so we set my recall appointment for Wednesday (10/14). Ready to get this done and over with.

To add, I haven't had any fuel pump issues yet. I'm around ~35k miles on my truck.
