FS: Toyota OEM integrated dash cam from 2022 TRD Pro. Like-new condition, I’ve never actually used it (the factory protective tape is still covering the lens). I have no idea what 3rd gen models besides the Pro are factory wired to be plug and play with this camera, so you will have to do your own research.

    Comes with 16GB memory card.

    $100 plus shipping.

Does yours have the multi terrain select console in the headliner above the rear view mirror? If so, it might be worth pulling that unit out (comes out easily) and fishing around for an empty wire harness connector tucked off to the side that looks like it would fit the connector in the above picture. I have no idea when Toyota started prewiring for these cameras, or which models come pre-wired.

Be aware that the new owner needs to buy at least one part - the plastic mounting plate this slides onto that is stuck so the windshield.

I’ve installed one of these into a RAV4, it’s a nice integrated dash cam.

Thanks for this. Mine was just attached to my windshield with double sided gorilla tape, but I had my windshield replaced last month so I’m guessing safelite couldn’t remove the original mount plate from the original windshield.

Here’s a pic of the female receptacle that’s tucked away in the headliner. If someone were so inclined to figure out what the three wires are (I’m guessing simple low voltage DC power leads, as the camera itself if is otherwise self contained) and wire in their own leads, I’d be willing to snip this receptacle and include it with the camera so it could be spliced in.

I’d place a bet that it’s 12V Constant power, Ground and 12V Ignition power, but someone should verify by wiring diagram.

Check that harness that the camera was plugged into; it should be part of an adapter harness, specific to the Tacoma installation. The trucks are not pre-wired for the camera, it uses the adapter harness to tee into the harness above that roof console. I did this install on my '22 back when I first got it.

    Reference the instructions:

    GLWS!
