I'll find out tomorrow, but I looked at the part list tonight and they were 169.97 a piece!

But yeah man, I'm so happy this thing is coming back to life. It's my pride and joy and I wasn't ready to let go of her.

We just used a couple of them to get out from being upside down on a previous car. Truck looks great. Still 1st gen envy here, no 3rd gen love. Fugly and problematic doesn't do it for me. I still have weird like for the AC sportside v6 prerunner or 4x4 and green would be cool...........I had an 82 for 27 yrs so I know the sentimental angle.

Well sweet, and yeah. Had some douche on here arguing that my trucks apparently a piece of shit because it's 14 years old. Of course he thinks that because he's new to Tacomas with his 2016 and he doesn't realize my truck has 0 problems, and never has had a problem.

That's funny...he has a brand new POS that he paid 3 times as much for. He's probably at dealership trying to get some help with his plethora of doodoo. Yours is NOT a POS because it's 14 yrs old.

Hood, fender, core support, bumper, radiator, windshield, headlights and a bunch of other things I'm forgetting. AC recharge, new battery, trans drain and fill. $8k parts and labor, not bad for a truck with 160k miles.

Holy crap. Were on the same exact page: ahaha. $7,970 in parts and labor.

Hey man just found your thread! Good to see the Tacoma back together in one piece! Glad they didn't total it. Now, time for a 4WD swap? :boink:

Ahaha, I wish, but it's just a DD right now and occasionally I'll hit some trails. No need for it yet.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
What a dick, some kids never learn. I like the new ones, but I don't think Toyota quality is what it was before. I personally think the 1st gens were built much better and used better interior materials. I bought my 2011 brand new and it had developed a few interior rattles by the time it was 6 months old. My 04 is 12 years old with 103k on the odometer and no interior rattles. The only part of the interior that's fallen apart is that stupid plastic cover on the bottom of my seat from getting in and out. Other than that I have no complaints with it and prefer the smaller size, it just got a new frame so she's good to go for a long long time! They don't salt the roads here thank god so I'm not paranoid about rust.
