Those of you who own a late second gen Toyota Tacoma looking to have an illuminated 4x4 switch know what this is. I did this mod to my 2015 Tacoma and it worked and looked amazing, but recently traded the truck in and the dealer asked me to put everything back stock. So what is included is the switch already modded with cool white LED's. PLUS...it's already epoxied to a black painted aluminum trim ring that properly fits the whole in your Tacoma. This is the only way a Hilux switch will fit and this trim ring runs $30 on Tacoma World. You will notice the back half of the ring is not painted...this allows it to adhere better when you JBWeld this in your dash. Just a couple of drops of epoxy on the back edge of the ring locks this in quite well. in addition I will be suppling two Toyota wire leads that you will have to snap into the illumination positions on the 4x4 switch wire harness. You will then run these two wire leads to the illumination wires of your climate controls. This is a popular mod well noted on Tacoma world. Depending on the year of your Tacoma will determine which wires you connect to for illumination. This is a simple mod, but doing this properly is up to you and your research. I did it quite well and the match was quite nice. There are pictures of the switch in and out of the tacoma. So consider this a complete kit for this mode with no soldering needed if you want it in cool white to match the dash. As noted in Tacoma world for some reason when you take pics of this switch illuminated the color of the white looks slightly pink or yellow. In person it always looks white. Also PLEASE NOTE there is a small scratch with some smaller scratches on the lower center area as seen in the pics. Any other imperfections you see are dust.
