Sell it to Carvana or Carmax for a profit.

I mean, it’s still an official Toyota lift kit sold by and installed by Toyota regardless. Made by? No. But it does have Toyota part numbers afaik.

I’m fully aware of this. The point is that Toyota offers a lift kit that:
    1) Does not invalidate the warranty.
    2) Is compatible with TSS according to Toyota.
Edit: 3) Is not the lift on the OP’s truck.

But hey, if you want to get into semantics, let’s make a list of all the components on a Tacoma that Toyota doesn’t actually manufacture itself.

They most certainly make a lift sir but thats besides the point. It was new this year and is a dealer installed option. Im pretty sure they are rebranded bilsteins but they are def not the Pro fox shocks.

You most definitely should... I learned the hard way was charged $200 bucks for a rental from Enterprise for bumper damage and I know I never hit anyone or parked it on the street to have bumper damage (damage was on the front and I left it parked head in at my hotel). I picked it up in the snow so I just hopped in and drove off. Now I'm paranoid and I video the car before pickup and after drop off.

The one thing I know about a lease is the lessee is responsible for any repairs during the lease period. It’s a weird situation here, the dealer would be a real ass to hold the OP accountable for a non-functioning TSS that’s a result of their installation of a non-TSS-compatible lift. But generally speaking a warranty is just as useful for a lessee as it is for an outright owner. Maybe even more so for a lessee who would be forced to pay for repairs not done by time of turn in. An owner might just decide not to make certain repairs.
