I guess you missed that they are buying it back because they've tried multiple times to fix it. It was an obnoxious "squeek". I don't even know if I'd call it a squeek it was that bad.

Yea i would not classify it as a squeak either, i have no clue what to call it, but it is loud enough to hear over the wind/road noise on the interstae, and the radio

I don't believe the whole story about Toyota buying back under the Lemon Law a squeak that cannot be located and fixed from supposedly the leaf spring, its probably cause this dudes trying to get out from under his payments from the loan to buy this truck, and came up with this whopper of a story to use the Lemon Law to do it.

Have you thought the leaf spring mounts on the frame are not square?

But anyways it's pretty shitty to assume that because it's not like Toyota hasn't had issues with their leaf springs in the past lol. You're not there and you are diagnosing it based on a couple words on an Internet forum. So you fit in to the TW professional mechanic/TW professional engineer category. Congrats

Man if you don't listen to these polls and stick with Toyota there is something wrong. honestly though look at how many Yotas have gone 300k + in your family alone? Lets also look at how many problem vehicles Toyota has Vs. all the others you listed. Also the problem with your truck isn't even on Toyota its on that shitty dealership you went to. My opinion stick with a Toyota and get either the 4Runner or a 3rd Gen Taco. Good luck with whichever you choose though, cause in the end it's whatever is going to make you happy.

I looked real hard at a 2500 Power wagon but had to pass due to the fuel economy, 10mpg doesn't work for me as I do a ton of driving.

EDIT: I have a 16 taco and love it but if I were to change vehicles it would probably be to a 2500 power wagon. Chevy is garbage, ford Eco boost scares me... The Ram 1500 is kinda white trashy. Also, the think the 150/1500 size truck is sort of a useless in between, it's substantially bigger than a compact, almost as big as a 2500/3500 but can't tow or carry as much. If you're not going to buy another conpact pickup than buy big.

I would definitely stick with Toyota and go 4 Runner Trail.

Every Ford our family has owned has had some sort of recall, usually dealing with something pretty serious (like the engine compartment bursting into flames). Also I work for a construction company, and the newer F250's have been nothing but problems.

We also have a fleet of GMC's. 2 single cab V6 work trucks, 1 V8 crew truck. The V8 had the AC go out within the first 20k miles (bad news in GA), and of the 2 single cab V6's one had a torque converter fail in under 15k miles, the other had some steering issues at around 40k.

One of our supervisors also runs a Silverado, his doors held water and leaked from day 1, his radio stopped working, defrost stopped working, etc. all before 100k miles.

Can't speak for Dodge, I don't really know anyone who owns one and have never cared for the way they look.

With all of that said, all of the Toyota truck owners I know have had very minor to no issues and have developed a very tight brand loyalty. Sure, as technology advances there are more components added to an automobile to fail, but ultimately Toyota gets you more reliability and resale value than any other manufacturer. I'd trade fancy bells and whistles for proven reliability any day.

With all of that said: If anything was to ever happen to my 2015, I'd replace it with a 4Runner without a 2nd though. No 3rd gen for me until they revamp that power train and front end.

You left out a lot actually... Lol

Are you one of JB's alternate accounts? Or his girlfriend/boyfriend perhaps? If you'll go back and actually read through his original thread and subsequent new threads under a new user name you'll find that something stinks like a week old tuna sammich left under the seat in a hot car.

You are full of shit until you post the letter that you receive in the mail from Toyota saying they will buy it back. You should receive this via email or in the mail, so post it up. I still have on file all those pics that were posted up in the thread you deleted. The ones showing you had offroaded the truck pretty heavily and towed with it when you clearly said you did neither of those in the other post. Dont be bullshitting, we already know you have lied multiple times. These pics and your story can be sent to your dealer and toyota, because we all know you are full of shit.

if they were not square a 1st grader could figure it out

if they were not square the shop foreman could figure it out

if they were not square you couldn't install new leafs without a pry bar to line them up

no one has thought of it ? because we all thought of it, and it is ridiculous, just like OP's numerous sock puppet names and multi-threads

no one needs to be on OP's side, until OP posts
some proof of any of this.

    OK a buyback ?

then the title transfer paperwork, post that up. anything. one shred of truth

If I was in the market for a full-size again, I would go Ford. I have owned 2 super duties and I love them. Have not had problems with either and my current double cab is over 200k miles.
I think Ford builds a solid machine that lasts as well as offers great engine options and interior creature comforts. If I suddenly found myself needing a full-size today I would go with an F-150. Although I hope I have a few more years before anything drastic happens so I can afford a Lariat.

fords are great for doing hard work and beating to hell, because they lumber along under stress fine, and parts to fix them
    are everywhere.
