It will cost that much to replace the timing chain at 40k.

Some folks just are impatient. I waited 6 months for my FRS in 2015. Worth every second.

So, at 10 this morning Toyota botched their rollout. 10 hours later you claim to have bought a competitors truck, on a Sunday.

    Calling bullshit.

If all of the input available was gathered on what the 4G should be and ran through AI what would that look like?

What would really scare me about the Chevy 4 cylinder is that it’s so light weight , I think around 80 ish pounds, and it had 400 ft pounds of torque. They are probably pushing that motor to the absolute max . Then factor in that GM is notorious for doing stuff like this and claiming how great it will be . God help all
the people who end up with those trucks later on when the mileage gets up there . I still trust Toyota way more with that kind of stuff. I think the new Tacoma motor has less power for a reason, and especially in the Tacoma , Toyota has its name on the line. GM could care less . They have raped people before and they will do it again . Don’t get me wrong, some of there stuff can be good , but if you have problems ? Oh boy good luck
