Had the same Toyota battery in mine since 2011. Simply beautiful.

I own a 2005 and replaced the original battery in 2016 and it didn't even need it, but since they were having a sale I bought one and keep the original for other things. Another toyota battery for me.

There are a lot more Walmarts in the U. S. than Toyota Dealers and in my experience, Walmart is far more likely to replace a bad battery without pouring a bucket of shit on top of you before they do it. Walmarts high end 24F has yet to let me down. Can't say the same for Toyota replacement batteries.

Since I have no accessories and it has happened to every car I have owned in the last 30 years, it can’t be the cars.

Lots of speculation here on Toyota’s response to a battery claim yet none have actual experience so...

Anyways no one is twisting your arms. I just though I would pass it on and maybe someone would find benefit from it.

Correct. It’s clearly something you are doing wrong. What that could be, I have no idea. I’ve never had a battery last less than 5 years.

    back to bone stock.
I bought my truck in 2008. In 2010 I replaced the OEM battery with an Interstate because I was going to hunt in frozen Idaho.

I’m still on that battery. I’m about to hunt New Mexico in December and it’s gonna be cold. I might preemptively change it out today. Another interstate.

Just remember that they expect to make money, on average, on this offer. If you're in the group of people that they expect to lose some to, then it's a good deal for you.

Florida has one of the most mild climates in the USA. Your signature says you live in Nova Scotia. That’s a whole different animal. Where do you live?

the factory battery in my 2012 lasted 9 months .. i was tired of it leaking acid out the top and the dealer wouldn't replace it, and the charging system was functioning perfect. I camp in arizona and nevada in the summer and my truck is outside 24/7/365. Batteries last 2-3 years on truck or my cars and 1.5 years on motorcycles here except for my lithium iron batteries. If you don't wheel and don't have the heat they will last longer, but I stick with AGM batteries and run 2-3 batteries in my rig and will be putting solar on to top up the batteries. Thanks for posting I'll go talk to my toyota dealer they probably won't like me because of my IMBS battery management system which is awesome and shuts down the primary from any draw but lets the 2/3 batteries run down to safe levels before it cuts them. But once again running a fridge and other accessories with short trips is hard on batteries. The Battery+ warranty for 5 years is prorated. AAA offers installed with 6 year prorated and free replacement for 3 years. Optima batteries are trash now

A store here in Canada known for selling Tires used to (early 90's) have a lifetime warranty on their premium ($90) batteries.
    I bought 2.
    I still have them.
Well.... not the original ones, but about 17 replacements later.

NE Florida here, my OEM batteries last about 4-5 years average. That is a good deal from Toyota though, hopefully its still around when I need a new one lol.
