Don't show up empty handed and mooch off of everyone else.

The guided runs are great for noobs and/or stock trucks so you don't get in over your heard and break shit.

Most trails have a bypass. If you have to, take the bypass and don't hold up the rest of the line.

Bring spare parts if you have them. Damage can happen on any level trail and increases greatly when it rains.

If you don't have sliders, get them before you show up as some trails are not very forgiving.

If you have to be pulled and/or winched out, be considerate and get out and help hook your own truck up and don't let everyone do the work for you. The only exception to this is if you manage to flop on your side and can't get out.

x2! I'm tired of working on my rig but I am so close to done with all these upgrades. I took it out for a quick test last night. The difference between IFS and Solid Axle is amazing. Now I just need to fix a couple little problems, bolt in the last upgrades, and finish welding on the last braces.

Same here. Got my wiring for my rear, turn and reverse lights figured out last night. Should get that knocked out this week after I borrow my buddy's plasma.

Get your texas OHV stickers. Call the state and order. Not taking any chances after the game wardens were out in full force at the canadian river sand drags last month.

or you can go to one of these places to buy one if you have one near you. worked out well for me, as a dirt bike shop that sells them is only 10 minutes down the road from me.

I've never gone to this. Any fun? I've done some offroading, but nothing to serious. This sounds like a stupid question even as I'm typing it, but would it be a waste of time to bring a truck without 4WD?

Yes; if you enjoy beer, Toyotas, off roading, and great scenery then it is a good time. As for bringing a PreRunner; unless you have a locker I would suggest you ride in someone else's rig. You would possible be able to do the Level 1 trails, maybe some 2s depending on how your drive/disrespect your truck.

I would say just get a ride or rig hop. Some of the best fun is had watching the rigs come out a trail or tackle an obstacle.

They also have sell them at BMRA. They have had them the past 3 years that I have gone, may be in limited quantities though.
