anyone have any good experience with a particular junkyard with a good stock of tacomas/toyotas? Need parts for my truck but all junkyards around me are bunk and calling never helps all they say is come look.

Don't know where you are, but I live in Georgia and just ordered some seats from weaverparts.com. They arrived from one of their yards to their warehouse in like two days. Price was good, and the lady I first talked to was super helpful.

You can also go to auto-parts.com and look at a million parts easily. That's where I found weaver at in the first place.

Do they pull from salvaged trucks? I try to stick to OEM

Yeah, they pulled seats from a 2010 Tacoma for me. She sent me a picture I inspected them and placed my order.

If you're trying to stick with OEM only, I can get you parts directly from Toyota.

Part of the fun of using a junkyard is being allowed to roam out amongst the wrecks and look at everything. Doesn't anyone do that anymore? Have computers destroyed the junk yard experience??

Where in SoCal are you located? There are a bunch in SFV, but you do have to go look for yourself. There was a thread on here with a member that worked at a wrecker and would part out trucks they received. Not sure if he's still active.

I'm in the high desert area like 30min north of San Bernardino. Don't get me wrong junkyards are a fun but don't got time for them at the moment.

    6cyl good sir
