    Hey There Tacoma Members,
I have read over the extensive information on my A750F transmission fitted to my land cruiser.
When the gearbox changes into lock up it changes a little early and thumps in a bit, it also will at times (On slight inclines clunk out of overdrive), after reading the forum I have covered the brake pedal and the problem doesn't exist. I have 175km,s on the clock and have changed the oil 4 times in this vehicles life (Never have flushed it but changed the oil and kept it clean) using original Toyota oil. Last time I serviced it I removed the sump and checked inside the pan and it all looked like new, after reading the information supplied on this forum I am replacing and flushing the oil plus replacing the SLU solenoid. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this, and if you think I'm on the path.

The solenoid which usually fails which is related to lock up and thumping into gear is the SLT.

Depending how many miles you have on the transmission you may want to consider replacing the lot of the solenoids because going back in there is annoying.

Hey Roberto, after reading the extensive information on this site, and watching the vidieo I was led to believe that the SLU is the solenoid that controls Lock up.

Oh wait, that makes perfect sense. S(olenoid)L(ock)U(P)

That solenoid and the SLT fails as well. If you haven't done so already, like I said I would just get it over with and just replace them both.

Welcome OP! I highly encourage you get familiar with using the quote button at the bottom of replies to you so people are aware you are responding back to them.
