I just got my 2022 Tacoma 4 x 4 SR5 XP. I see Toyota offers a 2 inch front and 1 inch rear lift kit. I am considering having Toyota install to keep my warranty in tact. any words of advice? Pros, cons?

I think they call it the TRD lift. includes :
    • TRD-tuned Bilstein

    • Monotube shocks optimized for body control and ride comfort

    • Heritage-inspired TRD Pro-style front grille

    • Millimeter wave radar sensor for TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) integration

    • Wire harness and cable spacers

Read the thread about this lift. From what ive seen, its more trouble than it's worth. Vibration issues, and for what it costs, no thanks.

I wonder if all the kinks regarding the above TRD LIFT thread have been fixed. (Start date Nov 22, 2020)

$1450 for the kit + $780 Labor here in Delaware.

I bought the extended warranty so this definitely affects my decision...regarding Toyota doing the install as opposed to other options.

Note that other lift options do not void your warranty. They may however cause you trouble with certain warranty claims. The same thing applies to things like driving your truck into 6’ mud puddle and hydro locking your engine. If it’s not a manufacturing defect, Toyota has no obligation to pay for it.

Not mine. 3inch lift, zero issues, and i spent a tiny bit more than the "official" Toyota lift kit.

Note that 3” in the front will leave a 3rd gen with zero or near zero down travel. Also note that many kits are labeled 3” when I’m fact they only lift a 3rd gen 2”.

No lift will be free of issues is my point, you haven’t had any with whatever lift you have, good for you, my brother in law has the TRD lift with no issues as well.
