I enjoy his content. He is right on about the Tacoma being an old school truck.

When I first saw a couple of his video's, I figured it was ok to hear what he had to say, but after seeing more, and more of them, I got the notion he is just another youtube video whore. I've had enough Toyotas since 1978 to know when to maintain them, and what common issue's they have.

I liked that video. Fishkill, NY, I grew up in New Windsor, NY.

Constantly going over the Newburgh–Beacon Bridge to see my uncle in Fishkill.

    Great memories :)

I got an idea for a show. Take the Car Care Nut, Scotty Kilmer, Robmotive, Chloe what's her Tacoma, and Whistlin Diesel you need an antagonist. Put them together in a house with a shop, Mike Swears can be in charge of the house. Give them different Toyotas to repair, and modify and see what happens.

Interesting how the biggest problems he mentions are the AC issues.

Anyone here in hot climates found it necessary to get the electric condenser fan installed? I've only had mine since September so haven't lived with it in triple digit temps yet.

That's why I went through the trouble of getting one, and it's also why Toyota sells 250,000 of them in the US every year. The media can push all the EV/highest tech crap 24/7 and people still line up to buy rugged machines that last for a long time. The Kawasaki KLR 650 motorcycle is another example of this.

The 3rd-Gen Tacoma's beauty is that it still feels like made-in-Japan quality and simplicity. Will the next generation be the same?

OP. Thanks for posting this video. I am so happy I snagged my 2022 TRD OR MT when I did. I could care less about these retarded e-gizmos. I keep my vehicles for 10+ years. 1st thing that breaks and is expensive to fix is that electronic crap.

he makes it sound like the 2016 & 2017 are junk! i might consider trading in my 2016 after the 2024's hit the lot and see what 2023's are left, if any. my 8 yr extended warranty will be up so might think about it if they will give me a good trade in, has 28K miles on it. or i will just keep it and when the oil seep starts wipe it off when doing oil change.

Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
I just hope they didn’t focus too much on the new style and let the quality of the 2023’s go to crap. I just bought a 2023. I pick it up Monday or Tuesday!

Yeah I have a 5/18 build date on my 18 which if they start production Sept/Oct of the previous year , puts me 3/4 of the way thru build cycle . So far so good
