I like everything better about the gen3 vs the 2. It’s a good looking truck inside and out. I think the 3.5 is a good motor like the 4.0 it’s just the tune on it for fuel efficiency that ruins it, but can be fixed. If I was a betting man the 23’ will be the last year for a “real truck” like dude said in his video. Bet they go to a coil rear end, and I prefer a naturally aspirated motor. Plus if I can get the last year of this current gen it’s 77k more miles I can enjoy I guess. I had other issues with my 16’ as well like a LONG delay in reverse etc. I’ll never buy the first year of a new gen again, lesson learned on that. It’s also discouraging that your 22’ still hunts for gears that bad. Hopefully it’ll be better than the 16’ I had

It's a TV show on YouTube!! Car shows on regular TV always have spotless garages. So many of the toyota fanbois act like this guy is the Toyota Jesus. Yes, he's knowledgeable and sort of entertaining, but other good toyota techs exist. I'd bet there's a good toyota tech in your area, but his garage won't be as spotless

My favorite part the video was when he suggested the TRDOR with an OEM lift was a better choice for actual off-roading than the Pro.
    Made me happy.
I was going to queue that part up to show the wife...but apparently something called the "Oscars" were on TV.
I mentioned that the OEM lift was "Everything Everywhere All at Once" but she just gave me that look.....

    Women are weird sometimes...

I mentioned something similar on this thread, Post# 37.

At 40:40, He mentions an "Official Lift Kit". "Perhaps the lift kit is better for off-roading than the TRD Pro."

Not to offend the TRD/OR capabilities but does it come with a lift?

And yes, that movie that won big at the Oscars is one I've never heard of until Sunday Night.
