Do the Nav in motion mod and that problem is solved

Dealer wants 150-200 for map updates sadly.

Also, doesn’t the 2018 have entune 3.0? I figured it would get better if so

Will be nice when everyone quits trying to do their own thing and just incorporates Waze into vehicles.

That said, I do love the maps off-road. Seems like most trails are on there and the ones that aren't I can leave birdseed.

The one tip that I thought was really helpful: pop out your map card and check the version. Then look on eBay or wherever for folks selling their out of date version that might be newer than yours. It will be a fraction of the cost for the latest version.

I didn't even use the Nav system and it was frustrating; it was causing my Entune headunit to reboot randomly. In the rare occassions I've needed directions, there have been no issues using bluetooth and google maps. I have a mount for my phone adjacent to the 4-way signal button so I can still glance at the overhead view as needed.

Just throwing this out there, but if any of you work for XM Sirius - launch a satellite to cover the pacific and Alaska. Easy, right?

The rebooting thing on the head unit SUCKED but was fixed by a software update long ago. Make sure you have the latest software.
