Hey all, first oil change on my new to me first gen. I stopped by napa and picked up two oil filters. One was for my 03 tacoma 2.7l, and the other was for my 97 4runner 3.4l. Napa said that they used the same oil filters so he gave me #1348 gold filters. This led me to think that my stock of YZZD3 filters can be used on my tacoma. Has anyone used them on theirs before? Want to be sure that it fits before I swap filters as I live in the middle of nowhere and I can't seem to find any info on the forum. Thanks all.

@oxDEADBEEf Sweet thanks, I'm guessing that since it is a larger oil filter I will need to add more oil too?

Technically a tiny bit, sure. Not really enough for the engine to notice though.

But I never actually measure how much I put in anyway. Just keep adding until the dipstick says it's full.
