Went outside for a remeasure now that I'm back home. My bed is approx. 74" from the front inside wall of the bed, to the closed tailgate. Though I did stupidly measure it from the top and not the bottom so it's 72-74". So can someone please confirm if this is a "long bed" so I can give my man the go ahead sign? It would be much appreciated.

Going back to what JPMORRISVB said earlier (and I somehow missed) about the wheel wells, yeah I have something like estimated 15" or so of bed before the wheel wells start which would indicate long bed right?

Since I have a regular cab I would assume (which I hate to do) that it's a long bed because I don't think they even make a regular cab short bed do they???

I hate to be a stickler on confirming this, but it is a non-returnable item as I stated earlier. I already gave my buddy cash tonight so he's just waiting for my text to confirm.

    TIA,

    Eric

You are right, there are no regular cab short bed trucks. And your bed is just slightly bigger than 6' (72"). QED -> Long Bed.

Yeah I feel pretty good about it being long myself. About 99.9999999% Unless someone tells me different by lunchtime tomorrow, I'm going for it.

I hate a non-returnable item.. LOL We just went through the same crap with buying a new mattress. It's kinda like choose from 1,000 different models and if you don't like sleeping on it, it's your baby now. Me being disabled doesn't make that any easier either and as it turned out, I hate the mattress and we are now searching for a mattress topper. Before it's over, my bedding is going to be right up there with the cost of the truck (joking). Sort of..

Even though your BOSOX handed it to my ORIOLES yet again tonight, I trust you!! :D I'll text him up in the morning and thanks again for all your help in this thread! Can't wait to get it. The stock bed surface is worthless for my uses (fishing rods and tackle boxes mostly). I can't imagine what it is good for other than things that are tied down...

    thanks again!

    Eric

EDIT: BOOM just sent the text. Told him triple confirmed and to order it in the morning. :D

Give him the money, tell him to go buy it for you as a present. That way he can tell the parts guys exactly what truck it's going on, and they will get the right part.

He already ordered it, and yeah I think that is basically what he told them. I wish it only were true. Would have been a nice gift! :D

Actually it was sort of a gift. Last Saturday I walked into the local casino with $65 in my pocket (including food money) to just waste time playing the penny slots... Anyway, I walked out with $600. Hit a 47000 credit payoff on a penny machine and won $100 on a $1 machine. Plus a couple of smaller hits.

Actually gave my wife back her $25 she lost and bought her a hotdog. Don't ever accuse me of not being committed to this marriage. LMAO!!!

Just wanted to update.. I got my OEM may yesterday. HOLY CRAP is that thing nice! Came rolled up tight in plastic, but unrolled and layed down like melted butter in the heat of the garage almost instantly. It fits better than any bed mat I've ever owned, has a more sticky feel than any bed mat I've ever owned, and looks cool as hell.

All I can say is that in IMHO, if the Weathertech mats for my cab were worth the $121.00 shipped I paid, this mat was definitely worth the $92.75 I paid. I think it will be hard to spend a combined $200 again that will make that much difference in my truck.

I won't debate that there are cheaper alternatives that are "just as good", but I couldn't be happier with it and am so glad I didin't go cheaper. This based on my pther trucks in the past having the cheaper style bed mats.

Thanks again for everyone who helped me with the part#.

Awesome! I can't wait. My birthday is next month and my wife wants to buy me something every year, and I never know what to tell her. Well I told her I'd like the OEM bed mat and sent her an online link. I can't wait :)

I picked my OEM bed mat from one of the local dealers for $109. I know, I could have gotten it cheaper, but I am going out of town for a few days and thought I'd treat myself to something before I go. Besides, the mat will help control the stuff in the bed.

You're right though. I fully agree. Sometimes the instant gratification of being able to pick it up can easily be worth $20. Who cares! :)
(I would, if I hadn't asked my wife to get it for my birthday lol)

Yep, instant gratification was what I wanted. I will be gone for a week and didn't want to order it and be thinking how great it would be if I had it on my trip. I'll be hauling some stuff in the bed, and might be bringing back even more stuff.

I agree with that too, but keep in mind in my case those bastards wanted $140!!! at my dealership. The 2 or 3 days I waited was well worth the $87.50 price. Overall I paid $100 between tax and letting my buddy keep the change, but that $140 wasn't gonna happen. As far as the $110 to $120 some people have paid, it's still worth it if that's the best price you can find or want it quick. The quality and fit is above and beyond other mats I've owned in previous trucks. That $140 is a ankle grabber though..

Found mine on craigslist, only used for 2 months, for $50. Wasn't worth $100 to me as the chunk-o-carpet bedmat that I had worked reasonably well (cleanup could be a PITA), but the 50 was worth it.

Only took me a year or so to find one local at a good price though !

    Nice product...

Yeah you got a deal on that for sure. Good find :) I'm a fan of the list myself.
