Dont like it at all. The rear end looks like it has Bells Palsy. Shouldve made it look more like the LC500. Those are sweet!

I kinda like the looks but would have to compare other coupes in that price range. I would definitely look at the Infinity Q60 twin turbo at 400hp and others.

Are they really not putting a manual in the new Supra?

Nothing but fail right there. Absolute fail. Damn shame

At least according to their social media account, "there are no plans to have a manual in the Supra at this time." The interior shots I saw look like it borrows heavily from the 86 (I sat in a showroom 86 during my last oil change, was underwhelmed). If so, it has a leather wrapped appearance of a shifter, but in small print on the console bezel is the mark of ugly truth: P-R-N-D-S.

This is coming from someone who can find joy in an automatic pickup truck. I prefer manual, but I dont mind the auto. Even the notorious taco auto. However, I absolutely refuse to own a small two-seater with an empty floorboard by the left foot. That, my friends, is everything that is souless and wrong with the universe.

I hear ya. There are some purists out there that still prefer the manual, like myself. But it's been proven time and time again that the auto is faster. Porsche does the same thing. With most of their line however you can still get a 6 speed manual. But all their racing tier cars are the PDK cars. You can just add way more features and produce a faster car (in the numbers) by offering auto.

Doesn't make it a better experience. I'm with the other member a two seat sports car should be a manual with three pedals.

I dont care about the 3 pedal stuff...when I was younger I was a 3 pedal purist, but with age you learn shifting fucks up your lower back
so Im good with an auto supra at this point in life

I don't find the new Supra particularly drop dead gorgeous, but I am sure it will be fun as hell to drive.

Regardless, Toyota needs to start making cars young people want to own and drive.

Wha.......I thought it HAD to be a Camry?

I thought the back looked a bit like a Vette.

Since I'm just getting around to really even looking at one, I'm going to have to say I haven't been impressed with the whole effort so far.
I knew Toyo. had already strayed too far from performance to ever go back.
Maybe if gas was expensive again people would drive cars but right now no one seems interested outside of guys in their 20's.
