Not trying to step on toes, or if I can be one to "organize a meet up," but there seems to be a decent amount of interest.

April 17th? I can call BHM and get pricing, meeting space, more details.

No worries at all! Nobody here wants this to turn into a 2nd job so the more people taking turns to organize something, the better. I would suggest making a separate thread for the event. You will draw in more people off the forum than just the people that watch this one.

Well it’s official, the lady and I signed the papers yesterday. Just bought our first house in NEWBURGH!! Now to start the demo and transform this neglected gem.
happy and sad to lose the dirty jersey monicker, but excited to be a bourgeoisie Hudson valley resident now lol

Andrew, are these posted on the FB page?
I see they haven't been creating official events anymore. If you plan on heading up one weekend, mind shooting me a message?

Congrats and welcome to the HV! That house 100% needs some period correct chicken themed wallpaper in the kitchen with a matching pie holder on the counter. What are the renovation plans? I’ve been in the building materials industry around here for 15 years. Most of what I do is heavy construction / infrastructure but I got a couple hookups.

So that ride Sunday wasn’t advertised because of some of the drama that came up on the Southern VT Offroad FB page recently. Joe who runs that page and organizes these runs has been lamenting how popular the rides have gotten. The two Chess and I went out to this winter had 15+ trucks which is too much. People get left behind, someone tried to bring a Prius, etc. It turns into a shit show and takes 8 hours to do a trail. When Chess asked him about going out this weekend he kindly asked that we keep it to just a couple rigs.

I think we will do another run up there late spring promoted to all of Tacomaworld/Tony/whoever and try to organize it better. Maybe pair off groups of 4-6 trucks and space them out, setup a modified route for the mostly stock trucks, etc.

I’d be down, let me know the date, etc.
I skied a lot of that section in January, the bear slides trail upstream of the main parking area. We better bring a big canoe...

it is one of the most beautiful stretches of nature that NYS has to offer. It’s ease of access and commercial float trips has trashed that section unfortunately.
That car is past where you can drive correct?
I wouldn’t be opposed to attempting an extraction of it at some point
