I have a bit of first aid experience too, I was an assistant scout master for a while. I don't think we need a real hard core first aid, Maybe go over brakes, sprains, lacerations heat stroke, eye injuries stuff like that. Maybe tack it onto the recovery presentation?

Ideally, if recovery is taught/practiced correctly, there shouldn't be much to deal with in terms of trauma. I'd almost be more concerned about medical emergencies like anaphylaxis, since a lot of the places we wheel/camp are in the middle of nowhere. In any case, I like the idea of going over all of this before one of us needs it. :)

You are correct, lets focus on the basics for first aid. I just threw out common injuries for some reason.

(just sneaking in to say there has never in the history of regional car groups been one with a better name than TONY).

    I'll fuck-off now. :)

I probably overshot on what you were thinking. I used to be an EMT, EMS Captain and training officer for an ambulance corps but am 7 years out of practice. The three of us can probably break up a couple subjects and each do a few minutes on stuff.

Well definitely excited about future meets.
I just got any apex overland recovery points for the front
    IMG_20210421_162754.jpg
I'm also talking to explore overland to get sliders and mobtown skid plate hopefully by the meet in June. Figured tires worked at bhm so I'd rather get protection before I upgrade the tires

I was talking about doing a Dorset / Sucker Pond trip.

Dorset is easy and fairly short but a cool spot. Sucker pond is maybe 25min away and has varying difficulty. Going North to south the road from Bennington to the pond is stock friendly. So is the last part from the power lines to Pownal. But the section from the pond to the power lines is a doozy. Lots of rocks. We have had stock trucks do it, but it’s a bad idea and takes a lot of spotting.

If we got a good group together, my thought was to do some combination of the easy parts and possibly Dorset with the stock trucks and send the built trucks down rock alley.

It’s not so much a question of IF stock trucks can make it. It’s a matter of how long it takes.

We know the answer already, like 10 hours
Hopefully I'll have my 6112/5160s on by then and I can see what its like to not stop every 10 feet hahaha

Yah, the 2” lift and 32” tires on my old truck was about the bar minimum.

Aiming for a 2" lift with the new setup, at 32s now but flirting with the idea of skinny 33s. If I didn't like the wildpeaks as much as I do I'd jump for sure butttt...

It’s a 1/2” of clearance going to 33s, seams like a waste of money. Wear your Falkens out and then go to 33s.
