That's route sounds incredible, and while there's not a lot of off-roading per se there's a really good group of people here and a bunch of off road parks within a couple hours of where you're gonna be!

Thats rad. I'm honestly just looking to take some logging trails and "unplug" for a few days every month or so. My kids love being outdoors and now so does the wife. I don't mind driving either, being in Hawaii I've had my truck over a year and a half and only have 7,000 miles on it haha.

So it looks like our next meet falls on the same day as jeep takeover in lake George. June 19th in lake Luzern. Do we want to change the date? The camp sites that I was planning on us using are first come first serve and might be swamped.

Nice looking truck!! Those wheels are hot!!

Imho I'd skip OvTune per'se , and go straight into one of performance tunes. OV will not be able to cope with size and weight of 33s , not even thx files. Speaking from my experience only. I flashed MD_daily tune (I'll provide details later if you're interested) before OV. I thought it was a bit too aggressive, so then I flashed multiple OV tunes (over more than a month), and ended up with MD_prformance and tow . It works for me. There are a few other tuners on TW offering their services, and they might be the totally outperforming OV.
I'm not trying to bash OV in any way. They are the OG! and their tunes are base for most of the other tuners, so yeah. There's that.

Anyways, all the tunes in the world aren't going to beat an actual regear. But for many of us, it's the next best thing!

Edit. Here's where the rabbit hole starts, but it's totally worth it:

    VF tuning collaboration and BS

You can open it without facebook.

TLDR it's $125 and 4 hours away from us.

    Hi everyone,
First time Tacoma owner here, finally found and got one. Is there any more of these meetups and trail rides for stock trucks coming soon near the Ulster/ Albany area?
Would love to be part of a group and get more into overland/off road. Thanks in advance!

@adk_tacoma appreciate the info, sounds fun, can I preface by saying I have zero off roading experience and a stock truck. I was hoping for maybe a day trip meet up with small trails etc. not sure if that exists around my area. I’m always open to suggestions.
