What is the type of wheeling you want to do? We have trails ,ravines, some rocks, bypasses, need some help trimming trails hint hint for street queens! Can camp if needed, you can make it as hard as you want?115ish acres. Plus a stone throw away a friend of mine has mountain maddness/N.Y. state off-road park , he has been doing weekends for camping in between the mud events. Think he's at over 225 acres of useable land but way more there.

Where are you talking about? I used to live in Delanson. More than up for helping cut trail.

Is this an off-road park or your property, either way sounds interesting. General location?

I'd be willing to spend a week end or two helping out. Personally I don't really care about trail stripes, but I hate getting stuck in clay.

Anyone interested in attempting some snow wheeling/backroad exploring up North? i am considering some polar level camping as well Saturday night. Might be a day filled with closed and locked gates, but looking to get out in the snow some and hopefully camp if i can find a dog sitter.

Don't get caught on snowmobile trails. There's a hefty fine.

I forgot what it is and they may be able to hold your rig to just like an atv, don't matter if reg/insured.

i haven't been up north much past december. Do they close down named roads (named on OnX or google maps) or just the listed snowmobile trails on DEC site per region?

have you been there before? I figured that was just snowmobile only routes

Yeah I went up last weekend. I didn't see any signage indicating that, but I was also up there at night. I just followed another set of tire tracks in the snow and just camped out in what appeared to be a turn around spot or a legitimate camping spot.
