Completely agree that the "Toyota Care" is just a marketing gimmick, and probably does more harm than good. You're overloading the dealership service department with oil changes and tire rotations, so the rookies blow through the work and don't double check anything. They let trucks leave with no oil or tires that haven't been touched. Customers would be better off without that false sense of security to begin with.

I read the fine print about the "special operating conditions" and asked the service writer if they could grease the driveshaft (this was before I figure out how easy it is to do...) and I'd be willing to pay if it was extra, but would really appreciate if they could roll that in with the scheduled maintenance. She said it wasn't a big deal and that she'd make a note on the work order to have that done. Yea...never got done. It wasn't "owed" to me, so I didn't fuss about it, but then I had a terrible experience with my 15k service and gave up on it completely after that.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Jude, ask your local Fire Chief who he uses to service his truck and go there

Thank you, that is what I am doing from now on. I'm out of warranty now and will not step foot in that place from now on. Lesson Learned!

Yes I fell for it, hook, line and sinker. I did it mainly because I live about a mile from the dealer. Driven a Toyota truck since 1987 & bought at least 3 trucks from these guys.
Finally found the paperwork @Blackout14 and yes it was a premium contract but read the back on what @jtweezy said, "special operating conditions".
It is laughable and sad all at the same time.
You buy a 4WD truck TRD OR that has factory tow. The service manual says special operating conditions are dusty or dirt roads and towing.

That is a great suggestion! One of the local FF in my district is active in our snowmobile club. I am going to ask him this weekend  Thanks Steve!

My goal is to help anyone in the future & establish a thread for Toyota's Customer Care Rep, Ed from Iowa. He said there was nothing he could do.
I said," I understand Ed. It's like the Serenity Prayer. Accept the things you cannot change. Change the things you can."
Hopefully if anyone googles Toyota Prepaid maintenance now it will show up with useful information. Not vagueness.

Yeah I get that and I am glad you are not working there anymore!
I believe that is why all the turnover in the service writer lane at this dealership.
I don't want something for nothing and when I picked through my paperwork, the sheet the F&I showed me wasn't there.
It was different than the contract. I'm going to focus on being positive about the experience.
I'm just glad I got my spark plugs! They didn't want to do that lol also the key fob programming myself was fun. Magical as @2014Sport says hahaha
Certainly taught me where I want to spend my money in the future.
Going to find a good shop, maybe use the shop where I take my 95 Cabrio and/or ask Roger the S. Burlington FF who he takes his truck too.
    You guys are great :)
