I think a regular cab looks sharper & cleaner looking than any 4 door cab model truck.

And a regular cab truck door closes a lot better than an access cab model IMO.

I don't know about that. Whenever I see a reg cab taco I think of those short buses they use for special ed kids. Where a 4 door taco looks like the regular buses.

I remember when every full size truck sold before the 80's were regular cabs. That was at a time when the sole use for trucks was work. Now they have made them hybrids of a car and an almost work truck. Progress?

I've owned 6 different trucks in my life, 1 extended cab, 1 crew cab then 4 regular cabs. I barely ever used the extra cab space and just can't justify how much more it cost to get more cab space. Plus, I like the short wheel base for off road.

    Might be right though.

    http://wot.motortrend.com/1408_2016_toyota_tacoma_mule_photographed_inside_and_out.html

It's a test mule for new components... Automakers modify current body styles to fit over these mules to test new components and what they don't retrofit, they cover... So it is completely possible and likely that the 2016 is going to be new, seeing the competition that is rolling in (New Frontier, Colorado/Canyon) and not to mention that full size trucks are now in the same price point with more options and better gas mileage... Toyota can only sell based solely on the reliability track record for so long.

You can't get the V6 Off-Road package with a manual transmission anymore? I guess they are trying to sell the TRD PRO.

FIFY. Still no dual VVT-I motor, still the same frame that rusts, same weak springs unless you get the fancy model with the RR shocks.
