Anyone have one of these laying around to measure the I.D.? Or the stock piece (should be the same, just no velocity stack).

Looking to see if it may work on another Toyota.

    Thanks.

Hard top camper...many more to add+
Anyone knows of a Dyno- testing ...with just the accelerator replacement only? With stock filter in , maybe knN filter for comparisons?

Funny thing is if ...Many people say they feel the difference and hear the difference...then there must be a difference..?
Many say placebo effects...others say any cai...has no value...?
Yet thousands are sold each year (cai)...and with so many brands...there must be believers..
    —-
My past experiences using KnN...I like the idea of buying one filter for life...when I first install it ..I too..could hear and feel the differences..reason why I brought for my other vechicles.. I

The gains may not be large ...but if it adds to your liking? ...ok

Funnels...if you cut the bottom 1/2inch off ..notice it flows faster? Compare the stock to newer accelerator ? One can see the differences...

Like a hole in bottom of your pants...bigger the hole ..better the airflow!

The stock air box is the same as the Tundra, the motor can't even use all the air the stock filter and air box are capable of providing.

Does this part also work on the 4.0l engines in the 2nd gens? Or is there a separate part number for that

Acceleration is improved and it growls a bit over 3000 rpm. Then there is the cool factor when opening the hood.

This is super old but I noticed the same thing. I went the cheap route and because I was only after a little better throttle response I did the rough country intake. It was so annoyingly loud and it honestly felt like it lagged under heavy load. I put the factory air box back in and it feels so much smoother now and not obnoxiously loud. Seriously it sounded like I put an exhaust on it. And not a good sounding one either. It rattled the cab.

I suggest the TRD flow accelerator and an HPS. That's all you need for parts. Then get the KD Max Tune.
    You wont be disappointed.

Yep I'm actually planning on getting that plus maybe the trd air filter. I actually just got the ott tune a few weeks ago. I have a manual so it isn't super impressive. Better at highway speeds but seems to be a few less mpg.
