Ok guys it's that time. My Nitto Terra Graps have 60k miles on them, time for new shoes. They've done well.

I love the look of Duratracs and have wanted them for 2 years. But now I'm trying to decide between DuraTrac, Nitto Ridge, and the Toyo R/T looks good too.. really having a hard time. Haha. Any advice, pictures, or input is welcome. Especially pictures.

Before my Terras I ran Toyo M/T and really miss the aggressive look... But they were worn out and loud.

Thoughts. And stupid auto correct on title.

If you buy before Tuesday you can save $200 on discount tire! But that is for RG or Dura!

I had Dura’s for 65k, just went with RG last Tuesday. Loved my Dura’s they did get loud! Love my RG now! RG is a little milder look, just barely. Depending on your size depends on what load you can get! It’s a personal choice! What size you looking at?

My d load dura seemed to balloon out more on sidewalls vs the c load RG. Dura has a seeker sidewall which could be why it appeared that way. Could also be the dura had 4 year and 65k. Can’t go wrong either way!

I like RG because both sides are black wall, if I get a bad inner wear I can flip them.

    RG’s are slightly heavier!

ridge graps all the way, cant believe how great they feel, just installed them,, totally different feeling driving .. these D's ride much better than my C-coopers,, these tires are quiet, smoothe, and just feel right..IMG_5209.jpg

Running toyo rt right now. I like them a lot. They are a bit heavier but for essentially a mud terrain they are very smooth and quiet. I picked up some duratracs for winter. The RT did good but I do want something that is snow flake rated for winters here in PNW. I do think the RT is one of the best looking tires on the market right now

Damn.. you guys aren't helping. Bahaha. I OR a little and go to a family cabin that's off road a few times a year. Not too worried about the dura sidewalls. Always loved the mean look they have and miss my Toyo MT.

I'm leaning towards Ridge Grap (love my nittos) and the duras right now. Have a CC with tire works, but they're not the best shop around. That's for sure

How do my old Nitto Terra Graps look to you guys...? After about 60,000 miles and plenty of fun. Lots of cracks from the Vegas heat but I still have some treat left..

    Not too shabby. Right?

Been trying to decide between KO2's, Toyo RT's, and the Ridge Grapplers when I get my new suspension and can fit 285/70/R17. I think I'll be going with the Ridge Grapplers based on a lot of reviews on here and other sites. Toyo and Nitto being essentially the same company makes me feel even better. If the RT's had a less boxy sidewall and were a little more consistent with my highway driving needs I probably would've went with those, but I think the Ridge Grappler is gonna be a good fit for me. A lot of street/highway, but I need something fully capable when I have my new suspension and start pinstriping my paint in the desert ;)

I like them all, size would determine my choice. The Duratracs have about any size you could ask for. Wish the other 2 had as many options

Reviving an old thread... Still haven't got new tires, but now I REALLY need new shoes.

thinking of sticking with my same 265/75/16.... but I also like the idea of 255/80/16 if that's possible, and if it won't rub. Just read the skinny on skinny tires thread, and now I'm torn. Like, real torn!

Got my Nitto Ridge grapplers installed 2 weeks ago. Ran a set of used Duratracs for 3k miles to see how I liked the 265/75/16 look. They were quite loud. The NRG are much quieter and very smooth. Only downfall to the NRG is the weight. 57 lbs so just be ready for the MPG hit. I see it that it’ll get me ready when I make the jump to 285 in a few years after a lift and set of SCS Ray 10s the wheel/tire weight will be damn near the same.

I would choose between the nittos and the R/T. Buy what ever is cheapest. I have the R/T but they were cheaper when I wanted the Nittos.

No complaint so far 2k miles in. 285/75r16
