Toyota Recall site not working for my 2nd gen

is working fine for my Yaris and 4runner VIN's

and used to work for my Taco VIN

but last 14 days....when I put in my 2013 Tacoma VIN, it just sits and spins

if I use an invalid code, it tells me. I know my VIN is correct as this
site used to work, but all last week and all this week, from multiple locations and browsers
it just sits and spins...forever validating your information




anyone else ?

my vin goes nowhere.

Toyota rep on phone also got jammed with my vin, but they looked
it up and confirmed 1) doesn't work on web and 2) valid vin, no new recalls

so maybe they will go fix some issue with the site

 

It's a bit wonky: first try gave me an airbag recall - not related to any Tacoma models. Next try got me the leaf spring recall. So it does seem flaky.

 

Worked for mine too, says no open recalls.

I just tried my truck, and it only had the seat belt, frame rust & spring recalls. I had previous recalls for the spiral cable, and a couple others that I don't remember, so apparently the site isn't very accurate.

 

when you get a [recall for a specific vin] fixed it comes off that site

site only shows what still exists with no record of work being done
