Feels like a car instead of a dump truck now.

Should have gotten a short shift kit installed while they had it, but at the time did not know it will be such a dramatic difference.

I have a urd short throw kit, its easy to install, you could do it yourself. Only problem with it is that you have to slap it over pretty hard to get it in reverse.

Good to know you haven't needed wheel bearings. I sell close to 80 a month, 95% of them to Tacoma and 4 Runner owners. Many of my customers don't wheel their trucks. As for TSB and recalls, I can show you a nice long list that the 4 Runner also has. It's the same base truck, doesn't matter WHERE it was built. They got the parts from the same supplier.

Hope it has the NASCAR sounding exhaust, like the invisible one does in the video.

Not sure where you get your numbers from, but a simple service manual search for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner 4 wheel drive, I have found 32 TSBs for the US, and 16 for Canada trucks. That doesn't even include the number of recalls.

My point is it does not matter if the truck is built in the USA, Mexico, or Japan... If the parts are sourced from the SAME manufacturing plant as they are, then they will still have the same typical percentage of failures.

Agreed....since I would venture to say the overwhelming majority of TSB's are parts related, not workmanship.

The 2016 Tacoma will be built out of the same material as Wonder Woman's jet.

Because test mule shots from the summer indicate a new power train, which would although sharing a lot of the previous gens components make it more than a facelift.
