I have a 3-month old 2023 Tacoma TRD OR. I was having issues getting the mobile app working. I read a forum thread saying to hit the SOS button to get help. When I did, it said module not activated and call 877-201-0262. So, I did. They helped me get the mobile app working properly, but now everytime I start the truck it says module activation failed (very loud and annoying).

I called the number above, and they said they can't do anything. I called the 800-331-4331 number, and they opened a case. It will take five business days to get back to me. I also called one of my best friends who is a Toyota Master Tech. He told me to disconnect negative terminal for at least 30 minutes. I did it twice (40 minutes and 2 hours), but it failed to get a successful module activation.

Has anyone else experienced this and have a solutioin?

    Will the dealer not help?
You have tried a couple of quick fixes, after that, I would park it in their lot and let them play fork-fork games with their tech people on the phone, while you drive their loaner.

Bring it to the dealer. It's what you have a warranty for.
