It is if it rolled down a mountain and landed in front of you just before you hit it at 75mph.

Please extrapolate how that applies to the OP, whom you've told to file an "act of God" claim with his insurance.

The OP clearly stated he was off-roading and was going a bit too hard.

And you're still telling him to seek an "act of God" claim. lol

This is why I rarely log into TW anymore.

Could have been on a fire road. I don't know where he was, doesn't hurt to ask your insurance agent. They will say yes or no.

Ok, well I hope it all works out for the OP, and I wish you the best.

With that logic I could claim that the mafia running protection rackets is a form of socialism. I exaggerate. :)

Can you explain the oscillating sound you hear a little more ? In my truck I hear a “wonky” type of sound. Possibly a warped rotor or something to that effect. It’s not that loud but every now and then sounds like a wobbly wheel or something and I’ve recently gotten new wheels. Currently on deployment so can’t have it serviced.

Also, insurance companies don’t pay, we do. End of story.

    You're an idiot.

Op is obviously smart enough to tell his insurance what actually happened and let them determine how the claim should be filed.

whats eventually going to happen with Car insurance plans is the same as what has happened to Health insurance plans is that Health insurance will not cover accidents that occur when people injure themselves while dirt bike riding,ATV, motorcycle injurys, go carts etc etc etc since idiots will go out and play Evil Kneivel and or backwoods NASCAR injure themselves and submit millions of dollars of insurance bills to be paid by those who have their premiums increase every year due to negligent irrespondsible goofballs who think its all free. If you want to go out and pound your new $45k truck that's cool but others(respondsible drivers) shouldn't have to pay for the damages you have incurred from it.

What? My health insurance covers me if I’m riding a dirt bike, motorcycle or whatever. The only thing it doesn’t cover is a helicopter ride out if I’m hurt. Which is why I pay an annual membership to cover helicopters rides.

you live in Commiefornia where the respondsible have to pay for the irrespondsibles damage to themselves, in the real world you cannot make others pay for those

WTF are you taking about? I have health coverage, pay extra for helicopter coverage. I’ve paid Helicopter insurance for 10 years and thankfully never had to use it. I’ve also paid medical insurance my entire adult life and barely used it. Get the fuck out of here saying people riding dirt bikes and motorcycles are irresponsible.

get the fuck out of here I'm not paying for rate increases to my insurance premiums cause of irrespondsible morons think they are Evil knievel, if your paying out for your insurance premiums and don't care about the cost incurred by frauds its on you

What am I missing here? Is there something different about insurance in California? Are you not welcome to forego insurance and/or find an insurance company that does not cover accidents you deem to be insurance fraud?

I will NEVER understand why anyone would pay for a new vehicle and then take it off road and do that kind of damage.
