all I know is that I have a clean driving record and my rates shouldn't be reflective of what damages are incurred by others who participate in high risk activities and fraudulent claims, the insurance industry as a whole reeks of fraudulent claims and resondsible drivers footing the bill for high risk fun and games that others participate in and then submit for millions of dollars in damages then the rates of others will go up because the good drivers will always have to pay for the bad ones and its wrong

absolutely, and then have the balls to file an insurance claim to recoup damages they do to their vehicles and say hey its an Offroad truck, those costs get transferred to resondsible drivers premiums

These insurance arguments are fun... We can all agree that having to pay for insurance sucks, except when you "need" it. Are there people that take advantage of the system? Sure, just like any other system; law, welfare, taxes AND insurance. It happens every day. But trying to convince one person on a Tacoma forum that gaming the system is wrong is fucking laughable... Now, let's say you convince that one person today, there are probably 176,294 other people who just loop-holed the shit out of something while you were talking. It happens. You already know this. So why even waste your time? There are just too many people, and you WON'T save them all... So let's stop bitching about insurance premiums. We will always have to pay for it no matter what you think, say, or do... Plus, if you're going broke because your insurance premiums are too high, you're probably misallocating funds somewhere else... Just sayin'.

So if you have this opinion you must be the absolute picture of health then? No drinking, smoking, soda, no red meat, work out 7 days a week with a resting heart rate of 45? Almost EVERYONE has something or does something that is considered unhealthy and contributes to insurance costs. And for the record, it's not just California. My health insurance covers me regardless of what I do or where I injure myself. Not sure where you're getting your info. The Progressive I have on my truck covers it wherever I go and whatever I do as well, have it in writing from them after I asked very specific questions.

Go find another dealer man. I just nuked an actual steel skid and my local dealer was able to help me out throwing stuff under warranty.

Those look like "factory skids". Factory "skids" should be labeled and used as brush guards. Skids necessary for bashing are made of 3/16 steel (or more).

There is nothing ballsy about it. As long as you file correctly and don’t make up false information. That’s what you pay for.

No but it is part of the system. That’s why you pay more for comprehensive then just liability. Again, as long as you’re honest about how it happened, that’s what you paid for and your legal right.

Really? That would be insurance fraud, now you’re arguing apples and oranges. If they burn it down by a legitimate accident, that’s a legal claim and their right to do so. I was on your side when you were arguing logical and realistic stuff. Now you have gone extreme like the insurance fraud guy.
