    We get screwed up here in canada also, dont feel bad! I have phoned many places and none could help me because the vin is associated with canadian (hawaiian in yoir case) production/sale.

    Maybe an aftermarket route? Like mirroring your phone on the head unit? Beat sonic usa has a kit for 200$ i think.

    I've been wondering what I've done wrong that I couldn't get the apps to work. I would understand if it just didn't work here for a coverage issue but what happens when I move back to he mainland? Seriously Toyota?

    There is a company that sells a plug and play cord that plugs into the back of the headunit to copy your phones screen onto your headunit... Same as having a second screen at the office.

    These systems might not be smart enough to check for that.

    Others have tried mainland vin's with no luck. Seems something is turned off in the software or completely different software version.

    Dealership in Hawaii. Anything shipped to them from Toyota has entune disabled. It's a shittastic way to screw consumers over.

    Servco is the Toyota dealership in Hawaii..... not "A" dealership....like "THE ONLY" Toyota Dealership. haha

    nope, they dont offer anything else.... it's just a situation where they are like "sucks to be you"

    It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
    Sounds like you have the lite version of Entune. I forget what it's called, like Entune plus or something, and not Entune premium. Does the nav require your phone to work? If so, you have the lite version, and the apps are not supported. I went throguh the same thing with my SR5, before I traded it back for my Sport.

    Not trying to bust your balls here, but did you read any of the other posts?
    OP has an Offroad, therefore it has Entune Premium. However, he bought the truck in Hawaii, which for some reason Servco gets the units with app support disabled and as of right now there does not seem to be a work around.

    you could alway ship your truck to the main land take it to a dealer and say this shits not working for some reason, or use the money to buy an aftermarket. Speaking of money, did you get $$ off because of this? Have you talked to the dealership about what your options are?

    Best bet is to find someone on the mainland that can get you a unit from a wrecked truck and ship to you.
    If you have the right friend it doesn't even have to be a wrecked truck.:D.( just kidding).
