Like I've said many times before, I will not go out of my way to take pictures of E120/E130 Corollas (2003-2008 model years in North America), but this 2007 Corolla CE was in such mint condition that I just could not pass it up; I was especially surprised to see one this nice in Massachusetts, where early that same day I'd met a woman walking her dog on the beach who was forced to get rid of her 2005 Honda Odyssey in 2019 because it rusted severely and would no longer pass inspection. It's hard to believe that a car that was brand new when I graduated high school is now eligible for classic plates (different from antique plates) in Pennsylvania!

The only reason I took pictures of this 2002 Lexus RX300 Coach Edition is because it is literally the exact same model my Grandma bought new and owned for roughly 17 years before selling it to my dad's friend in Kentucky; I saw it in the parking lot of a bar where my best friend's band was playing last night, and you may notice that the driver's window is down. I asked another customer if they owned the Lexus, and the bartender informed me that the owner had left it there the previous night after being too drunk to drive home. In their drunken state, they forgot to put the window up, and it had been sitting there in the pouring rain all day. At least cleaning up the interior is a lot cheaper than the various costs associated with getting a DUI! Aside from the interior being a bit moist, this thing appeared to be in halfway decent condition.

I ran the license plate through Carfax and unlike my grandma's, this one has AWD. My grandma sold hers to a family friend in Kentucky, and he just cracked 100K miles maybe a year ago. This one has some potential odometer rollback in its history, but I would estimate that it has close to 300K miles based on what I see in the Carfax report. My best friend's mom (the same best friend who's band was playing at this bar) had a white 2001 Lexus RX300 on which the transmission shit the bed in 2012 at just 150K miles or so, and she opted to buy a used BMW instead of fixing the Lexus. The BMW inevitably became a money pit, and I believe she may have bought another used Lexus, and then she traded the Lexus for a new Subaru a couple years ago that she still has...

One of my coworkers has a fully loaded 2017 Nissan Frontier, and thy accidentally left the sunroof open before it rained. Thankfully, it has leather seats. Some of the electronics acted a little wonky afterwards, but as of a few weeks ago my coworker says the truck has fully dried out and is fine with no lasting affects.

Toyota Echos used to be fairly common, but now they are becoming fairly rare and the ones that I do see are rarely in very good condition. This 2000 Echo is in much better condition than the white 2005 model that I also saw in this same parking lot...
