My friend Doug had a 2003 Highlander Limited that his parents gave him, until he totaled it in 2013. His parents bought that Highlander new in 2003, and by 2013 it had about 185K miles and needed to have the A/C recharged, but it was in excellent condition otherwise. We had a brutal heatwave that summer, and Doug was going to get the A/C recharged, but totaled it before he could make the appointment; I have no idea what year this one is, as Carfax is still not letting me run license plates. However, Doug's Highlander was virtually identical to this one, though this one is in much better condition...

Is it really a Toyota if it’s all Toyota parts but holds a Pontiac badge?

 

The LE has been the base model Camry since 2002, but it was still possible to get a "loaded" LE. The 4-cylinder 2002-2006 Camry LE was the only trim that came standard with rear drum brakes, but it was possible to get a 4-banger with 4-wheel disc brakes, and V6 models like this one automatically came with rear disc brakes. It was also possible to get the JBL stereo system and a sunroof on the LE. Aside from the dent in the rear bumper, this example is in pretty good condition! Once again, Carfax isn't letting me run license plates, so I couldn't get a year on this one...

I also saw this just now; Carfax is still not letting me run license plates, so I can only guess on the year without reading the VIN. The car is directly in front of somebody's house, and I can get away with snapping smartphone pics, but peering down at the VIN could get unwanted attention; I believe the car is a 1994-1997, since this has a passenger airbag and I think 1993 only had a driver's airbag. The car has a Delaware plate and I've never seen it before. It has the same color combo as my mom's 1990 Camry (white with blue interior). It has an automatic transmission, the factory stereo cassette, and crank windows...

Someone will buy it for that price.
I’d rather have the TRD package.

But if I were to go SUV, I’d got with a T4R.

 

This is also a base LE. One thing that a lot of people probably don't know is that the RAV4 LE hasn't had variable intermittent wipers for many years. All RAV4s have intermittent wipers, but LEs don't have the the variable-speed function...

Might as well just make it standard?
I looked, and you really correct, it’s not available on the LE.
The other trims it is, or it is as part of a package.

Why make 1 single trim package with out that option?

 

The Tacoma was the same way until 2020...

 

You’d make one hell of a car salesman.
You know so much about makes, models, trims, options.

I have a hard time remembering what options my truck has, let alone other vehicles.
