    you don’t have a sawzall, but you considered storing it for $30-$75/mo at you’re buddy’s (plus the gas to go visit it)..?

    makes no sense.

    That part I didn't think out; I just wanted the cab, and the salvage yard would have removed the cab for me...

    I never wanted the WHOLE Truck, especially when I found out the engine and rear end were gone (the tranny is actually still there); All of the parts I actually want I have space for...

    So take your toolbox and go rip off the bits you want.

    I don’t see what the drama is here.

    You kinda came in late in the discussion; I actually did think I was going to be buying the whole truck until I found out the cab had significant damage that I couldn’t see...

    Also, forgot to mention that my friend who was going to let me keep the truck on his property has a sawzall and a hoist, and was willing to help me break down the truck for the parts I wanted. My plan was to chop up the damaged parts and scrap them for extra cash, but like I said the truck ended up having damage that I did not know about.

    Is your dashboard damaged in your truck?

    I had a little incident with an air-conditioner fan grille back in 2012; The only reason I had it in the truck was because I was using it for a presentation at college. I slammed on the brakes when someone cut me off, and the metal grille flew forward and took a chunk out of plastic out of my dash below the middle right A/C vent...

    :facepalm:

    There is also a scratch across the passenger side of the dashboard, just below where the airbag is located; Never been able to get it out; Removing the dashboard is a major endeavor that I have no desire to undertake (or more likely pay someone to undertake) unless I really have to.

    @ovrlndkull

    You do not want the car seen in this thread; My uncle had an AMC Rebel Machine that he sold (don't remember if that was the real deal or a "tribute"), and he is currently building himself a 1969 SC/Rambler clone, which the parts from the white car seen on the first page are for. The 1969 Rambler seen in this page is a shitbox with severe rust that was last on the road in 1994 or 1995, and which I believe does not have a title; My uncle is incredibly busy and not the most internet-savvy person (unless it's eBay), but he's always happy to send me pictures of his vehicles to share online. I will text him and see if I can get pics of the SC/Rambler tribute ASAP :)

    If the Camry is compared to an automatic dishwasher in terms of reliability, then the Scion xB must be comparable to a toaster! Saw this at the shop today when my mechanic was rotating my tires and installing the cruise control stalk...

    A decent 1st Gen Toyota Sienna that hasn’t been subjected to the indignity of El Cheapo Plastico wheel covers; This is a loaded XLE model with leather seats, a sunroof, and alloy wheels...
