Any idea what year this thing is?!?!

One of a few potential gems I found on the backlot of CarShop; I don't know what year it is, but it is old enough that it does not have a backup camera...

I'm think it's about a 2001-2004 model?

Most likely a 2006 or up since it doesn't have glass headlights. I dunno a ton about 100 series.

 

I just saw a 2006 Land Cruiser at another dealer that did have a backup camera; I do believe that 2006 was the last year for this body style...?

Also, when we lived in Furlong, one of our neighbors had a 2004 Lexus GX that had a factory backup camera; I have seen a few older GXs without a backup camera, but a guy I met at a car show who has a 2008 GX with a factory backup camera said that the backup camera was part of the navigation package, and that a GX without the navigation package (and thus without the backup camera) was very rare!

 

Lexus versions of everything toss in a bunch of extra crap to break. I'm not a fan of the 100 series anyway, but the Lexus version is especially egregious with is plastic cladding, ugly headlights, auto height control system, and rando interior tech that at this point in time is beyond useless now. Backup cams weren't gov't mandated until 2013 model year...

First off, let me start off by saying that I have no desire to buy this thing and am merely curious...

That said, it's 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser with about 180K miles that Sloane Toyota is asking about $24K for; It is in okay condition, though I used to detail cars at a dealership for a living and one whiff of the interior told me that the previous owner was a smoker...

My dad's 2008 Acura TL had a factory backup camera; First car he had with one!

 

Ah maybe I'm thinking of TPMS? Well either way nothing I've owned has ever had one haha.

I'd be a buyer at a max of 12k, sorry 100 series plus it lives in a rust state... that's max. They're just not far enough in the value upswing yet.
