Toyota supercharger for towing?

    If I installed the toyota supercharger on my 09 tacoma doublecab sport will I be able to tow a more weight?

    No. The tow rating of the truck is based on other factors such as Braking, frame strength, etc..

    More weight... No! More wieght, easier... Yes! With the Supercharger a 6,000 lb trailer will probably feel more like a 3,500-4,000lb trailer as far as acceleration/power in the hills. Other than acceleration it will handle the wieght just like any other Tacoma. For towing, more important than power is braking, a good brake upgrade is never a bad idea. Also a properly set up trailer with sway/WD is also very important for heavy trailers.
