Toyota tacoma 2002 2.4l transmission fluid?

i am going to change my trans fluid and filter i would like some help on what kind of fluid i should buy and how much it takes pls

you need to put DEXRON III spec'd fluid (it calls for dexron II but dexron III is what replaces it now). Never dexron IV or V

 

when i took off the transmission fluid panel. there where 2 tubes going over the transmission fluid filter and it wouldnt let me get it off unless i took off alot more of than the pan like i had to take off something next to it. can someone link me to a video or thread that will tell me what it is or why its like that, i didnt get to change filter
