It is a feature on the driver side of all Baselayer mats. Reinforced heel area for increased durability. This slide is showing the F150 mat but the features are the same for the Tacoma.

I like the concept, just an odd delivery. Why not one large space instead of 3 angled ones? Almost implies its made for 3 pedals, ha.

Thanks @Dark_Taco for your prompt first impression. The red logo looks good with the red stitching on your seats. Looking forward to hearing more after some use and abuse with spring weather.

They look nice but I need that extra lip over the sill like my weathertech hp's have. Here in New England with the snow and slush it just slides right underneath. Maybe more models are coming.

Agreed and that is a suggestion for improvement I have for these mats. Style wise these are on point. I think with a bit more strategic coverage these mats would be perfect.
Today my kid got in the truck and immediately noticed the new mats. He committed these are cool and that he likes the look and feel.

It’s been raining here the past few days and I will say, these are holding up extremely well. Absolutely no slippage from wet shoes or boots while you’re driving. I definitely recommend these as there right up there with the other top brands.

Thanks for the update! How do you like the raised edge around the perimeter for containing any water?

We can agree to disagree. Larry posted pics, that is certainly not a review. The material looks incredibly similar, regardless of coverage.

Just checking in to get your current thoughts on your Baselayer floor liners. I am sure there has been some use and abuse after some crazy spring weather.
