If we could get a decent group buy price, I'm in. I can use someplace dry to store my ratchet straps!

I think the ones that open on the side are aftermarket. The third pic that opens on the top is an option now. I think it is about $1600!

It looks like they mated a stepside bed with a smooth outer shell

Love to have a couple of these at a reasonable price. $182 is way too much.

I had a Tuffy box under the hood of my Jeep wrangler. It bolted right in where it was supposed to. I kept tools and a multimeter inside of it. Nice construction, weather tight, and the lock was great.

The box for the Taco looks great! Double the storage area is a nice plus. If I didn't have a lockable roll-n-lock cover,,, i would definately get the Tuffy. I may get one anyway just to have extra storage that down't take away from the bed. lol

Thanks for posting the link. I say go for it. It's worth the money. Not a cheaply made product. Their stuff is good.

Guys, cabinet locks from Home Depot will save you some money, but that's about all they're gonna save. If you want to keep your bed cleats, tow hitch, straps, etc. safe and not in the cab with you, then pony up the $180 for the Tuffy. It's bulletproof and fits like it came from the factory. I'll post some pics if you'd like...just let me know what you want pics of and I'll snap a few for you.

Well I bought one of the boxes for now and I am waiting to get it. It was shipped on Monday according to Fedx It will be nice to keep my tie downs in there instead of bouncing around in the cab rear storage. Will let all know how it works out.

Really like the tuffy box, but as you guys stated, not at that price. I looked at adding lock to the factory door, but that plastic is just to easy to break into. If someone gets one and send me dimensions, I will draw it up and see if I can get it built for cheap. I have a buddy starting up a fabrication business in his garage.

Maybe try a group buy through TRDParts4u.com?

$185 is right up there and for me, pushes the price/performance ratio a bit. I'm thinking that a sweet spot would be $125'ish
