Just a shot in the dark Is the preload the same on both coil-overs? I’m not familiar with Fox, but Kings have a small bolt that tightens the preload collar. If that was lost for some reason, the collar could conceivably unscrew or skip threads and reduce the preload.

Does the other side have the same curve/bend in this area of the spindle upright.

The passenger CV angle is different than the driver. Looks like the passenger side is at full droop.

Can’t tell what the context is but the CV angles aren’t the same

I think the drivers side is torn down for the shock rebuild right now in the pic given. While the passenger side is still together. In one of the pics you can see that the LCA is tied up.

I don't see anything obvious that would cause a lean. But I do see a castle nut on your upper ball joint that looks like it might be backing out? Its certainly missing a lock pin... tsk tsk.

The passenger UCA bolt has an extra inch of threading out the bottom side of the castle nut vs the diver. If that joint is lose, that could be it.

Pretty sure that's from him taking the shock out to be rebuilt.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to remove the UCA from the spindle to remove a CO but maybe he did, maybe he didn't.

Either way, from the pictures, that's all that really stands out. I don't think it'll cause a droop unless this is throwing his camber way off but he'd see the crooked tire, no?

OP, while you have the tire off, mark the locations of the cam bolts, loosen them and see if you can push the whole assembly down. Just a random shot in the dark but the bushings could've rotated and is now binding and limiting the down travel. I don't see anything else wrong and this is the only thing I could think of.

You either need to disconnect the UCA from the spindle or drop the LCA from the knuckle. For a simple shock removal, undoing the UCA is the easiest route.

Nope. Undoing the UCA on a second gen is definitely the easier way as well

That’s a good point. What drew my attention was that the passenger CV rubber fins were all mashed together. They shouldn’t be that compressed on just 2-3” lift but maybe he’s got it on jackstands or something

I think he meant that it's NOT a 1st gen thing... and only a 2nd and 3rd gen issue
