Toyota teases new Tacoma info!

So without knowing WTF Lime Rush actually is, I used this photo from Toyota


to come up with this.... Not gonna' lie, not crazy about it...

 

I had a booger yellow green-ish VW Karmann Ghia long ago so I've already had my fill of phlegm colored vehicles. Pass.

 

Toyota reaserch department, this question is for them. Who buys a Pro series Toyota Product?

My guess is the majority of Pro buyers are men 45 to 55 years old. Do they like neon yellow?

Nitro Yellow from the Supra, or High Voltage Yellow from Scion might be more desirable for those wanting a yellow truck.

 

Even an old 1960's Toyota lemon yellow would be better than neon.

I recall there was an urban dwelling NYC marketing guy asking questions here last year.. perhaps they contributed.

I drove a 2001 "inca pearl" honda civic for 270,000 miles...... Yeah.... =/ It certainly generates discussion LOL

 

As a fan of yellow, I'd be sad if that is the color, but also happy as I'd have no temptation whatsoever to purchase one to replace my 2020.

 

I like it.

Especially with the iridescent lug nuts.

 

That demographic is why the have white, grey, and black.

A new, bright, and loud, colour is likely to target a new demographic.

 

Yeah I think folks have forgotten this truck is usually available with at least two other colors...

 

That isn't the only demographic who buys a Pro series Toyota truck.

 

That's what I'm saying. The colours are to target a broad demographic. It doesn't make sense to produce a product that only aims to please a single demographic, even if that is the majority.

 

This is odd. Tread pattern looks the same as before, but sidewall says Territory instead of Adventure. Wonder how much Photoshop went into the press photos.

 

Pro colors are exclusive to the Pro series until they are not.

I'd like to see silver as an option on the Pro.

 

That's what I'm saying, tread pattern in Toyota's photo isn't the same as the GY Territory AT (though it may be equally bad):

 

You people and your crazy colors... when are you going to learn that all you need is superwhite.

 

However, don't forget, if you take your off-road off-road you will get your warranty voided.
