    New Guy here.. traded in the 03 4-Runner w/240,000mi, on the 09 Tacoma/dbl cab/4x4/TRD.. Put on the shell.. Hoping to get as many trouble free miles out of the Tacoma as I did my 4-runner.
    Wife drives a 97 Landcruiser w/ 200,000+ (yes, we are responsible for the world's petroleum shortage.) I replaced a wheel bearing on the 4-Runner, we have not done anything to the Landcruiser. I had a 4-Runner before, my wife is on her 3rd Cruiser.. I actually tried to buy "American" on this last go-around.. Drove the GM small 4x4 dbl cab pick-up.. No contest..

    Anyway, we will test the Tacoma.. Pull a 19' Airstream trailer across CO (in a few weeks) then four wheel thru some of the passes in SW CO.. We shall see if the Tacoma can do it as well as our Landcruiser used to do.
    I don't have to be the first guy up over the passes pulling the trailer, I just don't want to be calling for a tow..:p

    Looking forward to learning more about Tacomas here..
