Would a bone stock TRD Off Road, (Stock suspension, and tires) be adequate for a moderate trail like the Land of the lost mud hills, or the ironman?

I think that jeep could make it under certain conditions. Its badass trail and for sure want to bring everybody that is willing to push there rigs thru it. Just a couple questions for ya

    1. Do either of you have a winch? Pretty sure she will need at least one winch. Problem with not having your own is somebody has to turn around to pull you up. So if we got 15 or so commited to the trail run. That could slow us down. But your group can also be placed towards the back to work around that. I have no idea what the confirmed group is. @Oneluv13T4R .Where is this info at?

    2. Jeep have rocksliders? I used mine and I got 35s and 3 inch lift. We cant have somebody freak out and hold up trail cause they will damage a rocker panel.

    3. Whats her trail experience? This trail is hard. A newbie with a stock rig is probably gonna be scared. Make sure you are fully aware of what you are signing up for.

Hey Mike thanks for the reply. She nor I have a winch, but she does have sliders and Is aware that trail damage is pretty common.
Id say the most difficult trail I have taken her out on was White Mountain. She does listen to spotting well though

Maybe I'll just try and convince her to ride with me. If all else fails I may skip this run to do something easier with her and come back out some other time

Winching can be relatively quick if the people that might have to do it have their gear ready and prepared, also would help to have designated helpers to spool out the line while the operator preps the truck and winch

Im confident that truck will make it thru with sliders. We just need to pair you up with somebody in front willing to help you with a winch if its needed. If you saw the pics on the website. Steve had the 3rd gen no lockers and he needed a winch up one long hill. I was able to turn around with no issue and pull him. But since Im trail leading a big group here I cant be the guy to do that for ya on this run.
Like I said before we for sure want to bring all people possible cause its a fun one. Im sure when we get a confirmed list we can call out some guys to see if they can step in if winch might be needed.

Sup brotha, You gonna make it for this run?

Exactly. Just want to coordinate our spots before we set out and we should have no issues. Theres gonna be plenty of stopping to take pics and check out mines so nobody will be too far behind.

I just wanted to say, your photos are awesome. Lol

I ultimately just want to have fun on a new trail without worrying about taking fun out of other peoples days. Im fully confident my truck will make it. I just wasnt too sure if her Jeep with open diffs would have too much of a hard time

I have a brute force rear bumper you can use

I can take pics. Sadly I sold my Sony a7 a couple weeks ago to fund an a7ii thinking the a7iii was going to drop soon, still have an a6000 though

But anyway, got the 40" on the prinsu and the same brand 27" in the grille.

Next up are those scene lights, 2 per side, then ditch lights. Gonna do a pair of KC flex LEDS per side. I had an idea to put an amber cover on one and clear on the other so that I could put a three way switch in (off, Amber, Amber and white). There are times I've only wanted Amber, but never a time I've only wanted white

I have Amber rigid fogs, white HID headlights, Amber 27" bar, white/Amber 40" bar, Amber/white ditch. Plan is to keep amber low, white high

Overhead light is the best. My 40" slim is awesome.I don't really see a point in ditch lights. Seems to be the cool thing right now though

True that. I got 4 fog light pods so that's probably why I don't see a ditch light needed.

Really want to get some flush mount side lights on the prinsu. I'm already buried in parts I have yet to install so that's on the back burner
