I'm in. It'll be good to get back on the trails. It's been a long five months.

Might be down. Campsite would be a plus and a better chance at convincing the warden.

I want to run the Odessa Doran Loop this weekend but is so hot the past week. If I do end up going it would be early morning Saturday.
I need at least one truck to join me. Anybody in here down? Should have rock sliders, rear bumper, 33" + tires.

That would work for me. I'd want to start the trail as early as 6am. I would need to leave my house at 4am but we gotta beat that heat.
Check out Danny's video on the page 6 to get a feel for the trail. Section he got stuck may require winch if no locker. I'm thinking with tires aired down more and you having steel bumpers will help. I'm sure we'll make it though. This is a tough trail with tight spots. Possible risk of body damage and dragging rear bumper on some waterfalls.

Stoked if I get to break out the winch. I feel like a true badass offroader when I'm using it.

It probably would have helped but i wasnt there so couldnt say for sure. The really hard rock crawl trails I'll go 12-15 psi. 18 psi is usually my standard for all other trails.

With open diff, I'm used to stacking rocks if the skinny pedal doesn't get me through. No shame here. Looking at the videos of this trail, I'm sure I'll need an assist or two. If you have no problem giving me a little tug me through a couple spots, I'm down.

Yeah no way I'd try to skinny pedal through there. As you guys mentioned, aired down to 13 and careful placement

It will do fine. Just don't get all crazy. Lol. I took my stock sr5 to Joshua tree and blm land and it did fine. A little armor helps. Sliders and ifs skid.
But now I am lifted about 2 inches and have upgraded the tires from the 245 destinations to the OR 265's

I night have to join you guys then. Are there usually alternate routes for the guys that are still learning the fundamentals?

98 percent of the group i run with are 2wd and they are our daily drivers. So, yes we stick to the easier trails and most have bypasses around the tougher obstacles. Some of us like to test our trucks though.
