Yeah that would be cool since we're using that info for determining how many sites we will need to reserve which we will be doing at the end of this week with the campground manager to work out the pricing

Got it, camping info is up on the website. Campground doesn't look bad but we prefer to avoid them.

I'll start checking out the BLM land.

    Guys,

I'm not a campground guy neither,
But this isn't your regular Campground, it's designed for the off roading enthusiasts all of the tent camping spots have direct access to the trails and are seperate from all the motor homes and trailers needing hookups. And if we are taking up one whole designated section it's just all of us and there wouldn't be any issue like last time cause there is no shooting allowed in that vicinity to piss anyone off. By camping somewhere else there will be that possibility within or not within the group of someone shooting BLM camping in the Calicos is like the wild Wild West there's people shooting across roads and up in the air,..that's a fact.
On top of that when everyone gets together for a fire at night what r going to do drive all the way over to hangout and figure out where to park or not come hangout and exclude yourself. Also at the campground is where we will be meeting up posting info and holding a raffle and maybe even throwing down an event BBQ for everyone so then again you gonna leave all your shit just out on blm land somewhere around there while wheeling and all these other things are going on? I sure the hell wouldn't not out at the Calicos . JT was different we were out in a secluded area where nobody would be and there was always people hanging out throughout the day anyways to not have to worry.
But here it's just gonna be a handful of you somewhere and that's it when you guys aren't there who's to watch your shit... you gonna load your rig back up each time or leave it and worry about it in the back of your head while out in about ..not fun.
Atleast at the campground it will feel safe , even though really it's a sense of false security, its better than no sense of security.
I can't even tell you the last time I stayed at a campground but for this and this peticular area I am.
Last time I camped at the Calicos it was far enough away that I was ok leaving my shit at camp but that was 40 mins away haulin ass trail driving which was cool but I wouldn't do that for this type of event.
    Here's a pic of it
    IMG_8158.PNG.jpg

And remember you guys could always pair up on the campsites it allows for two rigs and two tents

Yeah, last years camping spot was awesome but it was like being on the moon. There is no way anyone would take your stuff since no one in their right mind would would travel out that far from civilization. Since I'm not in my right mind I pulled a tent trailer thru dirt roads then ATV trails and bushwhacked with the peddle to the metal to get it to the destination. You had to drive up a local hill to get cell service to see where the hell everyone else was. The nearby dry lake bed would be a great place for pew pew though.
