That is pretty cool, there is an actual "recalibration" procedure. I always figured it was BS that Toyota stated when lifting or switching grille out TSS sensor would need "recalibration". I guess they actually do input some numbers in a computer

Ordered the grille that comes with this kit and an OEM garnish. Leaving everything else stock on my SR5. Will report back with any TSS issues but I don’t expect any.

Has anyone installed the lift kit on a 2WD, or any reason to think that it can't be installed on a 2WD?

My quote was $2460 installed with 6.5 hours labor. Also, dealership recommended additional clamshell bushing, axel seal and replacement “spring nuts” for back of sensor.

Kit is on back order, tho’. Calling around to get more quotes. Luckily, I live within 40 mins of 3 different Toyota dealerships.

The hot sheet says 4-5 hours. I'd be bringing that in with me.

Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone that has this installed taken an actual measurement before and after the lift? Specifically center of hub to the fender. More interested in the front as the rear is pretty much a given with the block.

anyhow.....it seems like a lot to pay for a setup that you prolly aren't going to keep for more than 5 yrs

Ok, no longer twinsies! That front bumper and winch looks good though!

I’m getting mine tomorrow morning. I’ll do some before/after measurements and pics. I’m not putting new wheels/tires on yet so it’ll be a true lift-only before/after.

Would this setup work with a heavy duty leaf pack like the Dakars?

I had been planning on a 6112/5160 setup but due to them being backordered and that this can be had for around ~$350 it seems like these might be a decent alternative. I carry quite a bit of weight in the back with shell/drawer system/towing so I need to do something about the current sag though. I also plan on switch to a skinny 33, probably 255/75/17.
