Ca recently passed new taxes that start in November that will hurt diesel for the future.New .05 cent tax per gallon for diesel plus will likely go up every year plus a new 12% tax on new diesel vehicles sold in the state. Also the registration on vehicles are being taxed an extra $50-$175 based on the value of your vehicle.
In other words Toyota and other companies will probably rethink bringing diesels to Ca. anytime soon.

Seriously. There's a new thread like this every month now. Let it go. More importantly why are you posting it here when you clearly don't care to own a 3rd gen and own a 2nd. These are the kind of threads and members that need locked/banned. Sorry but you came in here with no point but to start cr*p with a thread that is irrelevant to you. All auto sales are down across the board. F150's (number one vehicle of all time in sales) halted production due to excess inventory, they must be subpar too. Take your nonsense 3rd gens aren't as good crack pipe pot stirring theory posts somewhere else.

agree just another thread to start crap if you read the chart in this article shows a decline in Tacoma sales but still outsold chevy by 6000 units http://www.tfltruck.com/2017/02/toy...vy-colorado-gains-january-2017-sales-midsize/

I don't get it, someone or the same OP posts these threads constantly in here. Just stay in your own section and worry about your own gen, you can drink your 2nd gen kool aid of superiority with like members/owners. You don't see 3rd gen guys posting these type of threads in the 2nd gen section. Frustrating.

Ha ha. I know you're kidding.

FYI, most people question electric seats, with good reason. I rarely adjust mine and I don't often let anyone else drive my toys.

However, I really do like the ability to easily adjust the height of the seat, and other adjustments that were not possible on my 2nd gen Tacoma.

I could certainly live without power, but one size does not fit all when it comes to height. That would be a welcome improvement to the seats.
