Yup. Same thing when I shopped for a Lexus GX460 3 years ago. Used market was crazy and it made more sense to buy new, which I did. Now with the Tacoma, after researching for 6 months, buying new is a no brainer..:now buying a PRO is about $4k more than a sport or off-road. Prices are NUTS!

Toyota is offering it (0% for 48 months) this month for both 2017 and 2018 Tacoma's along with other models.

    https://www.toyota.com/deals/apr/

If Toyota wants to keep their trucks as high-resale then they better stop offering this in the future.

I just looked up my truck and with 451 miles on it, worth 2000 more than I paid for it.

I checked KBB somewhere around when I got my '16. The Ford F-150 was about the same or better for holding value as the Taco, believe i used numbers for two year old or older trucks, 50,000 miles. Keep hearing Toyota holds it value better. Fake news?

In the long run Tacoma holds better say 5 years or a bit more down the line, not way in hell im getting rid of my taco unless a new model came out 10 years down the road.

I think it depends on the area because I just bought a 2018 and they didn't offer 0.9% or any other amazing APR through Toyota Financing and when I go online it doesn't offer that for Tacomas either. I was about to cat out if they were offering 0% now...I'd have to talk to the dealer...

Based more on durability than anything else.

My 2nd gen had 200K trouble free miles. Only time can tell regarding the 3rd gen. I haven't see anyone on these online communities report anything that wasn't easily solved by a part swap. Almost every problem reported has been an assembly error--Paint on CPS, incorrect torque on differential, which are the only problems I know about.

The Toyota manufacturing processes is still rock solid, which can be seen on every on Consumer reports, and nearly every other data report.

Mercenaries, terrorists, militias and other Desert/jungle fighters still prefer Toyota trucks whether they be Hilux or Tacoma. I don't think that will ever change. That has an effect on the US market, which is something many people seem to forget.

Weird. It must be location specific then. Wonder what would happen in your browser if you chose "in private" to mask the location.

Now that I click on the "View Details" I see it says regional. See below for the details. Ends the 28th of this month.

I wonder if you were to bring this to a dealer if they would honor it out of the area.

I traded my 17' for a new 17' at 0% right before New Years.
